Tanya Robertson

Where it all started

For more than 25 years, Tanya Robertson been helping people reach their health and fitness goals. At 15 years old, she discovered her passion for health & fitness when she started working part-time at the Alabama YMCA. Since then, she's worked as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Health & Fitness Coordinator in Canada, as well as the United States and Australia.

 

Tanya has combined her entrepreneurial skills with her passion for fitness to create the her ideal lifestyle.

 

Personalized Fitness is her first business she started in 1999 which is still operating strong today. She takes a multifaceted holistic approach and believes whole heartedly that fitness, food and meditation can heal the mind and body. Currently, Personalized Fitness has been successfully active for 21years and remains Tanya's main occupation.

 

In 2004 she started a Clothing business called SAKOSH which manufactured and sold Yoga Clothing and accessories.

In 2007 she started a company called Collective Wellness which was a wellness center that offered massage, infra red healing sessions and Nutritional Coaching. 

 

With a desire and interest to bring a progressive approach in Health and Fitness to the educational system, she went to teachers college in 2015 and graduated with a Teaching Degree in health and physical education.

 

Immediately finishing her degree she began working at Bruyere hospital as the Health and Fitness coordinator for the staff.

 

Along with her job at Bruyere, she now works as a part time teacher, incorporating her Personalized Fitness business training the the staff and students through programs such as Mindfully Fit, Bootcamp, Yoga and Sound bathing.

 

Through all of her experiences, she has manifested the lifestyle and achieved her long term goals.

Personalized Fitness

Tanya founded Personalized Fitness in 1999 with the intention of making a positive difference in  her community. She take a holistic approach and believe whole heartedly that fitness, food and meditation can heal the mind and body. Her services include personal training, group fitness/yoga classes, nutrition, sound bathing meditations and more.
