About HIIT

HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training, which refers to the short bursts of intense exercise alternated with low-intensity recovery periods. HIIT is quick and anything but boring, and a time-efficient way to exercise and burn calories. You’re going hard, as hard as you can, for a short period of time, then rest and recover to go hard once again.

 

Each person has different baseline fitness. What is defined as high intensity for one person may be either too intense or not challenging enough for someone else. We determine how high intensity is defined for each individual, and then modify our exercise intensity for each client or participant as needed.
