About the Event
Join us for a 60minute group session at my private home studio in North Beacon Hill, Ottawa.
Experience the balancing and relaxing properties of Gongs, Koshi Chimes, Crystal and Singing Bowls.
During this Sound Bath we will ground our mind and body with the power of sound waves.
Sound Baths stimulate our brainwaves, helping our brain to move into wave frequencies that induce deep meditative and peaceful states, which can be equivalent to several hours of sleep.
We will start the class with a seated meditation for 3-5minutes followed by a bit 15minutes of dynamic stretching, a couple of longer held stretches (Yin Yoga).
Then, participants lie on the floor in a Savasana pose (corpse pose) to experience the sound bath.
Please bring your mat, a cosy blanket, and a pillow (or two) for your head and maybe under your knees, and dress in comfortable clothing (try to avoid hoodies with zippers and shirts with buttons).
I provide pillow masks but you can bring your own.
