Workplace Wellness:
Myofascial Release Workshop
What is Myofascial Release?
Myofascial release (MFR) is a hands-on therapy technique aimed at releasing tension within the fascia, which is the connective tissue surrounding muscles, organs, and bones. Fascia can become tight or develop adhesions due to injury, overuse, or even stress, leading to pain, reduced mobility, and poor posture. MFR involves applying gentle, sustained pressure to these areas to elongate and release the fascia, thereby improving flexibility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall physical function.
Self-Care Education
Teaching employees, staff or students self-myofascial release techniques empowers them to manage their own health, fostering a culture of proactive wellness within the workplace.
This MFR workshop benefits anyone, particularly those in high-stress, physically demanding environments such as:
-
Schools: Improve student and staff posture, reduce back pain from desk work, enhance focus and reduce stress, create better learning and teaching.
-
Hospitals or other health care settings: Help staff manage physical strain, reduce pain from long shifts, support better patient care through healthier staff.
-
Other workplaces: Boost productivity, decrease work-related injuries, and improve overall well-being, whether employees are in physically demanding positions or in a traditional or at-home office setting
