Service Description
The personalized fitness assessment is roughly a 60-minute consultation with a health and fitness professional where you are tested on the 5 components of fitness: body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. As well, we test for balance and mobility. Generally, it's best to go through an assessment before starting any form of a fitness program so you can determine the program that is going to work based on personal goals and outcomes from the assessment. After the initial assessment it would be a good idea to reassess your progress 3-6 months later to see if you made any progress and how you can continue to improve. Fitness assessments are also scored and evaluated based on your age and gender. I consult with you after your assessment and compare the results to normative data or age-adjusted charts to show where you should be based on data that has been researched to be accurate.
Cancellation Policy
Policy Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel a session without charge. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the session being charged. How to Cancel: Cancellations must be made through the Wix app. Please ensure you cancel within the app to avoid any charges. If you are having trouble with this, contact Tanya directly to cancel. . Instructor Cancellations: If the instructor, Tanya, cancels a class due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather or personal reasons), the session will not be deducted from your package, and you will be notified as soon as possible. Health and Safety Disclosure: Participants must inform Tanya of any current injuries, pregnancy, or other medical conditions (e.g., chronic illnesses, physical limitations, or recent surgeries) prior to participating in the bootcamp.
