Online Group Fitness Classes

Finding a way to be active is more important than ever as our lives are ever-changing and our regular routines are disrupted. Doing some form of exercise is an easy way to boost both your mental and physical health, and now is the ideal time to try a new activity - or to ensure that healthy habits are continued.

With physical distancing still a reality and personal interactions still limited, being part of a supportive online community is a great motivator to stay active.

Join us from the comfort of your home (or anywhere else!) and get the benefits of social connection and varied exercise with interactive, personalized online classes. Daily small-group classes, streamed live (synchronous) through Zoom, provide a sense of community, no matter where you are. Your personal trainer will not only be showing each exercise, but will also carefully watch each participant and give direction on form, tips for personal modifications based on preference, fitness level or injury, and will ensure that everyone feels a sense of accomplishment after each class.

There’s nothing quite like following along together in real time and giving out (and receiving) virtual high-fives!

Monthly Memberships offer full access to a variety of live online workouts that combine cardio and strength exercises - such as Yoga Bootcamp, Butts & Guts, Tabata training and more. If you miss a live class, don’t worry. Recordings are sent to all members the same day so you can always do them at a later time at your convenience.

Welcome my mom, fitness trainer and yoga instructor Diane Robertson to our online training group this month!!

Diane has always been enthusiastic about health and fitness, and has been teaching a variety of classes over the span of her 25-year career in the fitness industry . She is a certified Group Fitness and Aqua Fitness instructor, teaching in several locations in Ottawa. Her love of fitness led her to supplement her own workouts with yoga and fifteen years ago, she completed her Yoga Certification Teacher Training.  Yoga has become the focus of her teaching ever since.

Her passion is to help people enjoy better health through safe, effective classes and to create an accepting atmosphere where participants of all levels can replenish and challenge themselves. She’s been a true inspiration to me, and I know you will love her classes too.

Diane will be teaching every Wednesday in September:

10 - 10:45am Core conditioning & Yoga Stretch

This class is designed to build the core muscle groups while improving balance and posture using hand weights, exercise band and a yoga block.  This will be followed by some yoga stretches to increase flexibility and range of motion.
